Old school dining experience. Brightly lit with no music (or maybe it was too quiet?). No actual candles or table decor. Went here for my thirtieth birthday, and the food was completely bland. Thirty something dollar basil pasta had cheap mozzarella balls, no real basil for decoration. Alfredo didn’t have any seasonings, not a fleck of parsley or anything. Calamari was okay but wasn’t what was described on the menu. Striped bass was again, just okay. Overall, everything just needed depth and flavor. Had to pay for bread at the table, and it didn’t come with oil or rose shaped butter (I don’t think it came with butter at all). Our server kept sniffling very obnoxiously, and it was wintertime so that was off putting. Completely overpriced. Plates should have been $25 tops, if that. Seafood was nearly appropriately priced. Wish I would have spent my birthday and $300+ elsewhere.
